Currently working as a Public Sector Business Development role within SAS, I have previously specialised in the Geospatial and Geosciences industry. With a background as a qualified land surveyor, I have work for BMA Coal and various cadastral surveying organisations. With Post Graduate studies in GIS (Geographic Information Systems), I transitioned into spatial data management and finally GIS Management. GIS Manager positions in RP Data and the Queensland Department of Housing leveraged my core CAD skills but required competencies in object orientated programming, UNIX and formal Microsoft SQL Server data base administration.

Over the 5+ years as the Northern Australia Business Development Manager for ESRI Australia, I successfully applied my broad experience to holistically shape the geospatial industry. Fortunate to work in a business development role in a rapidly evolving industry, I was key to shaping many organisation’s adoption of ‘best of breed’ geospatial information and supporting technologies.
